Theresa’s animal career spans almost 27 years of behavioral conditioning utilizing positive reinforcement training techniques, along with using natural methods for behavioral problems. She has worked with many exotic species including primates, large cats, birds, reptiles, and 14 years working with her favorite animals, elephants. Along with her vast knowledge of wild and exotic species, she has continued to work and train with domestics of all shapes and sizes and uses her natural rapport with animals and people to help enhance the lives of both.

Theresa spent many years rehabilitating injured wildlife and along with being certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through the Central Florida Red Cross. She is also a Reiki Master, Certified in Flower Essence Therapy and an Ordained Minister. She is a current member of Pet Sitters International and the International Natural Healers Association and along with her pet care and animal business, she currently works as an animal care specialist at Palmetto Animal Health Center, a new state of the art veterinary clinic located in Mt. Dora, Florida.

She is dedicated to the deep healing of animals and our bonds with them. This can be done through education, proper training, or using the natural healing methods that she specialzes in. She assists people and animals in deepening their understanding of each other and resolving the challenges that arise in their lives, including:

Helping them to better understand each other and their purpose together
Helping them to better understand physical illnesses and injuries
Helping them to understand each other when the animal’s behavior is puzzling or seems inapproppriate

Theresa has a special interest in assisting animals and their families as the animal nears their transition, She uses intuitive listening, flower essences and reiki to help make the animals and their owners more comfortable and accepting of their crossing over.

Theresa is always happy to share her experiences and is available in person or by phone to support people in developing their understanding of animals, training, flower essence therapy or reiki.
