Reiki is a gentle, effective energy healing method, which treats the whole animal, not just the symptoms of a disease. With Reiki the practitioner acts as a conduit for the healing energy of the universe to flow through her hands to the animal or human client, causing a shift toward health at the deepest levels. It restores balance and harmony to a person or animal’s entire being: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki can also be used to accelerate personal growth and transformation.

The name “Reiki” (pronounced Ray-key) comes from the Japanese words “rei” meaning spirit and “ki” meaning energy. It is usually translated as “universal life energy.” The beauty of Reiki as a healing system is that it is simple, non-invasive, and stress-free, yet highly effective. reiki is practiced throughout the world, including at over 300 major hospitals and medical centers in the U.S. Until recently, reiki healing was available only to humans, but increasing numbers of Reiki practitioners including Nature’s Touch are establishing practices devoted exclusively to animals.

Animals suffer stress for a variety of reasons including living in unnatural environments, absorbing the emotions or the homes they live in, taking on negative energies and diseases as a buffer to protect their guardians, and misunderstanding situations that they find themselves in.

Animals are very receptive to telepathic communication and energy work, and especially healing; they are eager and willing to clear their energy fields, but require a little help in doing so. Animals often heal quicker than their guardians, as they don’t carry the same amount of emotional or energetic “baggage” as most humans do. Animals are pure souls, without judgment - and therefore are fully able and willing to accept unconditionally the pure Reiki Healing or Distance Energy Healing.

Note: Reiki does not directly treat physical symptoms nor does it replace proper veterinary care. It can however, be a companion to proper medical care and help enhance the healing process.

Appointments/Fees

Appointments for Reiki sessions can be in person or by phone. Initial consultations by phone and distant Reiki treatments are recommended for animals who are very sensitive, live outside the immediate geographical area, or are unable to have a treatment in person.

$75 per Reiki session at clients home. Give at least one hour for each session.
$50 per session for Distant Reiki *

This is one of the most thorough and intensive healing work I do, the Distance Energy Healing is generally done late in the evening when most people and their pets are asleep. The animal will feel nothing during the time of their healing, except possibly a feeling of warmth. Be assured that this energy healing cannot hurt you or your animal companion as it works with the laws of Divine Intelligence.

When you call to schedule a reiki session, you will be asked for the following information: name, age, and species of the animal that requires the healing along with a description of what your animal looks like. It is recommended but not necessary to email a photograph of the animal. Other information will be directly addressed during the session. Reiki sessions can be done at the clients home or long distance. We respond as quickly as possible to all consultations. If we are out of the office, we will return your call or email as soon as possible.
